4-Way Double Balloons Foley Catheter is a medical device used for urinary drainage. It consists of two balloons – one to secure the catheter in the bladder and the other to secure it in the urethra – and two lumens for drainage and inflation of the balloons. The catheter is inserted through the urethra into the bladder, and the balloons are inflated with sterile water or saline solution to secure the catheter in place. The catheter can remain in the bladder for an extended period and can be removed by deflating the balloons and gently pulling the catheter out. It is commonly used in patients with urinary retention, urinary incontinence, or during surgical procedures involving the urinary tract.
